Film Heritage Tour of Bradford

Join Bradford UNESCO City of Film’s Director, David Wilson who will take you on a unique heritage tour covering more than a 100 years of film history shining a spotlight on the city’s most memorable film moments.

Bradford has an illustrious film heritage dating back to the late 1890’s when the Lumiere brothers played what is arguably the UK’s first commercial film to an audience at the People’s Palace Music Hall. Since then film directors have flocked to the area to take advantage of the district’s iconic heritage buildings and natural landscapes for hundreds of TV and movie productions.
